Bree's Boutique
Bree's Boutique was founded when I realized my love for sewing. I started making dresses for my daughter and it grew from there. My mother-in-law is a seamstress in Mexico and she has taught me so much invaluable information. I enjoy the entire process from picking out the material and slowly forming it to the finished product. The feeling of taking nothing and making something out of it is very fulfilling. God has blessed me with a gift that I love to share. When my cousin Meghan ( Meg's Crochet Jewels) asked me to share a booth with her at Indie Craftstravaganzaa I was so excited, I can't wait for May 7.

Hey Man Studio
I have lived and worked in Athens, Georgia for the last ten years honing my craft and enjoying the support of the Athens community.
Working in wire is a manifestation of my desire to be on the edge of creation.
Since few artists historically have sculpted in wire, wire remains on the edge of human expression. I find there is a freedom to sculpting in wire, for wire has no great master whose shadow I am under. I also sometimes feel as if there is no ground under my feet, since there is no canon to follow. Therefore, as I create a piece, I am discovering the possibilities of wire as a medium, which are forever unfolding. By choosing wire as a medium I am expressing my commitment to a sense of curiosity and to the process of discovery. To make a bronze or stone sculpture is to say something permanent, to make a decisive statement. But in wire I am free to keep my work and my world in the realm of poetry. It is ephemeral.

Making Time Designs
As the mother of two sweet babes, I realized I had neglected my urge to create for some time. Over a year ago I began to batik, something I played with fourteen years back. Batik is the ancient art using melted wax to create an image on fabric, the wax acts as a resist to dyes or paints. Once the wax is removed, the remaining design is one that will last a lifetime and tends to have a fun, bohemian, crackled effect. Last year as the seed that is Making Time Designs was beginning to sprout, I found myself on a fantastical journey going festivals around our home in the north Georgia mountains. Along the way, learning that our son is on the Autism Spectrum, I found that my art was a way to make connections with other families who have a rainbow kids. This is why portion of my profits support Autism Speaks. If you do not find what you are looking for, let me create something just for that someone special, your band, your business, or just for you! Gratious Thanks! Debra, aka The Festival Faery

Meg's Crochet Jewels
My name is Meghan, a Comer Ga resident for most of my life I have been crocheting for as long as I can remember even though at heart I am really a tomboy. Somehow my love of crocheting afghans and scarves turned into an obsession for crochet jewelry. I get such a rush from the wire and beads taking on a life of their own as I crochet them into a piece of wearable art. My aspiration is to make pieces everyone can feel comfortable wearing in their everyday life or for a grand occasion. Pieces that are perfectly unique to you and express exactly who you are and feel as if they have always been apart of you. Whether it be the cotton anklet you tie on and never think to take off or the elaborate necklace of wire and beads that you save for special occasions. I take pride in every piece and hope that you enjoy wearing or giving the piece as much as I enjoyed making it!

Each flower is handcrafted by me, using top quality materials and a whole lot of fun!

Red Crow
Handcrafted mosaic art work by me, the artist, Judy Mendel living in Dacula, GA. Inspired to create most often from unwanted or broken little finds. I love the art of mosaics. Using glass, recycled items, mixed media, handcrafted stoneware clay pieces from my studio, broken glass, vintage/retro china plates, or ceramic/pottery dishes/pots. Making new again an item that normally would be tossed is the best part to me. I find mosaics relaxing and very much like putting together a puzzle. I am able to blend various tesserae together to create a unique piece that tells it's own story as you see it each time. I have a home studio that I work in full time creating wall hangings, welcome signs, inspirational signs, tables, mirrors, flower pots, bird baths, jewelry boxes, and whatever lands on the table next. I am "that person" with a lot of little hopefuls waiting on the shelves to be used in the next piece of art, not considered the junk lady yet. Each mosaic is an original piece of art and can't be duplicated, what I'm not able to draw on paper I can visualize it in a mosaic and arrange on a surface with a little tile, twisting, and adhesive to create art that is interesting - that is what has drawn me to making mosaics

Dennis Smith
For over a decade, I have worked professionally with Stained and Leaded glass. My work reflects my interest in architecture and design, and I find most of my inspiration comes from the Arts and Crafts movement. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed exploring the endless possibilities that working with glass provides. During the design process, I experiment with light, color and texture to create custom pieces that are contemporary but also reflect the traditions of the past. Recently I have applied the same technique to create mirror that is both unique and functional.
