Handmade pottery from Atlanta. I just love to make pottery. I really do. My focus is on beautiful, well-crafted items that are fun and useful for everyday life.

Jean Mann
From as far back as I can remember, I have always loved art. As a child I was never introduced to the world of art. My environment at home certainly wasn't conducive to my interest; therefore, I believe my affinity to art is innate. The art is in me - I pick up a pen and it flows forth. My artwork is quite simply, fun. The greatest pleasure I derive from it is the response I get from viewers. Each person sees something different. They bring their experiences, imaginations, personalities to the art. The art then becomes intensely personal not only to me, but to them.

Kenneth Kase
I've been creative all my life. Growing up, I was lucky to have an artistic family. My work has evolved over the years to involve all different mediums. I'm currently offering mostly one-of-a-kind jewelry, but who knows what else will spark me! . I took my first jewelry class when I was ten. As an undergrad at RISD, I majored in Sculpture. When I returned to jewelry, I perceived it as a way of making small-scale personal sculpture. I earned my Master's Degree in Jewelry and Metal Work at The University of Georgia, and have remained in the South, creating, playing, and selling my work. My process in making each piece involves an element of discovery as I see how different materials and techniques work together, but all of my jewelry is hand-formed and hand-finished. I'm currently working in hand-patinaed brass and Czech beads, most of which are 100-year-old uncirculated glass. All of my ear wires are sterling, patinaed to match.

Laurel Hill
Metalworker Laurel Hill's jewelry is inspired by biology, geology, history, birth, death, decay, renewal, and a deep love of the South. ÊPrimarily working with sterling silver, she also incorporates copper, brass, gold, wood, bone, recycled leather, paint, and the occasional found object, resulting in a unique piece of jewelry that exhibits excellent craftsmanship and, most importantly, retains the mark of the human hand.Ê

Passion Fish Potters
Over the last five years of wheel throwing and slab rolling, IÕve begun to take my pottery less seriously and have more fun with it. It is, after all, a source of great joy for me, so I have let that joy manifest itself more in my work. At this point in my clay forays, I describe my pieces as fun, folksy, and functional. If youÕd like to see a few samples of what IÕll have available at the Craftstravaganzaa, come see me at www.thepassionfishpotter.com.

Pancake Meow
One day Leslie Dallion said to herself, "How might I go about making adorable jewelry that also smells yummy?" Faced with this challenge, Leslie decided to take her favorite desserts and try to create tiny replicas using polymer clay. She toyed around with different ideas until she found the right bits of this and that to create her very first miniature stack of pancakes, topped with a melting pat of butter and dripping syrup. Susan Cooper
I have been creating all my life thanks to the influence of a very talented mother. My interest and education in science has always influenced my work, primarily painting and drawing. Watercolor botanicals and feathers in colored pencil taught me a lot about the use of color as well as opening my eyes to the incredible diversity of shape and color in the natural world. I turned to jewelry a few years ago and enjoyed the challenge of working in three dimensions. I quickly became hooked by the endless variety of techniques and media in the field of jewelry design and am excited by all there is to learn.
