 One more Craftstravaganzaa behind us! We were so fortunate that the weather turned out beautiful. We were a bit worried about the weather, as a lot of rain and storms had been predicted for Saturday. Some were even talking of snow! Saturday dawned grey and overcast, but by 10 am the sun was shining and the sky was the prettiest shade of blue. It was a little cool and somewhat breezy, but we were all very relieved that it did not rain. We had quite a turnout this weekend, a lot of visitors and a lot of people buying. The interest in buying handmade and buying local is strong in Athens and that makes me happy. Athens is a very creative community, and it makes me proud to see so many beautiful artistic things being offered. Craftstravanganzaa is Athens' largest handmade market and I think the best.
Thanks for coming out and supporting this community event as well as your local craftspeople and artisans! Merry Christmas!! We look forward to seeing you for our Spring Market!
